Plastic Bottles

Place EMPTY plastic bottles in a curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container.

Ways to Reduce or Reuse
Cut down on single-use plastics by switching to reusable options instead. For beverages, invest in a thermos or stainless steel water bottle that can be washed and reused, again and again. For home and bath, try bar soaps, laundry pods, and other sustainably packaged products.
When possible, opt to purchase beverages in aluminum cans or aluminum bottles over plastic bottles. Aluminum materials have a greater recycling potential than plastics, and can be processed and remanufactured an infinite number of times.
